Recruiting Coordinator (Temporary / Part-Time, On Call)

DESCRIPTION

Ripple Effect has an immediate opening for a Temporary or Part-Time Recruiting Coordinator to join our Human Resources team.

Position Overview

  • Duty Location: Rockville, MD – Ripple Effect Headquarters
  • Position Information: Temporary
  • Hourly Rate: $20-$25/hour, based on experience
  • Vacancies: One Opening

  • Travel Required: This position may require occasional local travel (Washington, D.C. area) for work-related meetings

Job Description

The Recruiting Coordinator position is ideally suited for a detail-oriented person with a good grasp of technology. Specifically, this role will support the day-to-day activities and administration of the hiring and recruiting efforts. Responsibilities may include facilitating remote assessments, scheduling interviews, candidate communication, responding to calls/emails, phone screens, reference checks, and other duties as assigned.

Specific duties may include:
  • Screen and refer qualified applicants to hiring manager for interviewing
  • Provide initial phone interview support to obtain work history, education, training, job skills, and salary requirements
  • Coordinate and schedule interviews and assessments
  • Proctor Assessments in SharePoint and provide technical support, when necessary
  • Accurately maintain candidate files in Workable (Applicant Tracking System - ATS)
  • Conduct reference checks via phone and/or email
  • Edit and file electronic documents
  • Provide information on company operations and job opportunities to potential applicants
  • Obtain and provide requested reports and documents for management purposes
  • Use SharePoint and other technologies to accomplish tasks
  • Assist with recruiting initiatives
  • Perform research and report on industry-related information
  • Other duties, as required


REQUIREMENTS

Basic Requirements

  • 2+ years of administrative experience
  • Customer focused attitude
  • Ability to be resourceful and proactive
  • Highly organized, efficient, and extremely detail-oriented
  • Experience with Office products including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint 2016
  • Ability to effectively work in a Cloud-Based Program (e.g., SharePoint and Microsoft TEAMS)
  • Ability to learn software for travel planning, calendar management, and other tasks essential to success (including SharePoint)
  • Ability to be on-site during core business hours
  • Ability to prioritize among multiple tasks in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
  • Ability to work independently, with a team, and know when to seek assistance
  • Demonstrated strength in oral and written communication skills, including professional emails

Preferred Skills

  • Previous experience in Human Resources, recruiting, or other related fields
  • Experience with applicant tracking systems
  • Clear understanding of recruitment life cycle processes
